Outdoor Track at Scarborough High School has been a highly successful program. Since 1983, the team has won 10 Class B state championships. In addition to that the team has been runners-up three times. Scarborough athletes have excelled individually as well, winning a total of 78 individual titles over the years and another 19 victorious relay teams. Currently 4 Class B individual state records are held by former Scarborough greats Michael Smith and Ryan Werner. Smith is the 100m dash record holder with an 11.06 from 2000. Werner holds three Class B state records, the 110m high hurdles (14.5), 300 intermediate hurdles (37.9) and the Pole Vault (14'6 3/4) all from the 1991 season.

Sam Chick wins the 800m at the 2008 Class A State meet becoming the 3^rd individual in Scarborough history to take home the 800m title.
